How big is your son?
My sons are young and those little fingers get into everything. I considered putting a padlock on the stand.

How long do I need to change the bulbs?
You tell us when to change those T5 bulbs...

Here is my AI+T5 retrofit. im still ramping up to max intensity and 10 hours per day, then lowering the frame closer to the water. My wife is saying all the coral and clams are growing faster and have different colors coming out, its been only 3 weeks. 1 colony near the bottom front corner partially (1/4) browned but she said its coming back. even my RBTA is larger. I have been feeding really heavy and keeping alk 10, ca 400. All my cyano dissapeared instantly.

this retrofit of 6x AIs 90+120 degree sol blues and 2x T5 80w is currently 9 inches above the waterline of my 72"x24"x24"

gratuitous pic of my sunburst anthia... why? I dunno.

It looks nice but I hate the big/huge unit and a lot of wires when I hang above my tank without a canopy. I like the sleek look of the SFILIGOI pendant hanging above my tank.
What, when are we having beers so you can put your chest out and make me jealous of your light? Time and address please!

Nice,

but you cannot just throw it up there without telling us: LED vs. T5 photoperiod/settings, distance above water line, PAR values, initial coverage/appearance...

thats like getting a Ferrari and not posting your actual performance specs!

I do not have a Par meter. The LED is hanging the same distance as the ATI. I set from 10 am ramp up slowly until 18:00 is in full (40% blue and 25% white) of lighting and after 22:30 pm is slowly down until 23:00 pm the moon light is on until 12:00 is off every thing. I still playing the program with the controller.

Honestly, Par meter is a great way to compare LED strength vs. other LED strength...

But I don't think those sensors are calibrated for LED type wavelength.... I've grown SPS on PAR levels of 150-300 under LEDs... if that were to be t5 or MH, it would be insufficient, right!?...

There are 6 channel dimmable for all LEDs and all T5 bulbs by LINK SFILIGOI controller. It's so easy to use with LINK Controller.

Here is some of the pictures of LINK controller. It's nice to have the system locked for the protection.

Set up in couple Languages from English, Deutsch, Italy!

Main menu!

System is in the ram up time for 6 channel. starting at 10:00 am thru 23:00 pm (channel 1 for 2x80w T5, Channel 2 for another 2x80w T5, channel 3 for White LEDs, Channel 4 for Blue LEDs, Channel 5 for Red LEDs, and channel 6 for Green LEDs). All channel are now in 0% intensity.
