So I moved a giant Tonga Branch tower to get some more light on some coral and less light in others.

Everything on the tower got brighter and nicer including my pink lemonade that got brighter yellow. Well I celebrated too early cause I just noticed yesterday the base of the pink Lemo is STN in a perfect circle around the stump.

Just tested all my water for the regular stuff and everything is pretty much business as usual. Alk 8.0, calcium 425, didn't care to test anything else.

I real am stumped as to what to do.

Too much light too. Fast ...how long was it shaded for
Pink Lemo wasn't shaded per se, it was getting better flow and that I think is the biggest issue as pink lemonades love flow IME. I turned the rock cause the dang Hawkins was dying and it likes where it is at.

Let's see, have my own business not given to me by my daddy. Got a decently hot wife, some pretty great looking kids, a home, and a belly full of jelly. Doing alright here "kid who needs to buy everything cause he's empty." Keep on buying and collecting stuff you have a lot of emptiness to fill.

Moving on, the plan is to have mushrooms and montis and toadstools no shame knowing when enough is enough. I wanna be cool like you and make fast food that kills people and make lots of money doing it.

What reef keeping. You mean keeping Sps for two years and not having one fist sized LE colony. That kind of reef keeping? Ya I'm super jealous of all your skills. Soplas!

You level is novice at best. I'm surprised anyone would take your advice since you have only zoas and easy to keep coral that can grow in your tank.

If i understand you right the tissue is receding from the base up, or out to the rest of it.... this happened to me so i scraped a line of tissue in front of
where it was receding (like a fire line containment). the receding will end at where the line is, and then coral will heal and grow back over the dead area. Not sure if this is your situation, but if it is, it will work.

Every other thread from u is how ur SPS are dying or how they look like poo. Ur constantly posting threads asking people for advice on what to do....well here's some advice, sell ur tank and all ur corals before u kill everything. BOOM

Ur such a baby. U love talkin smack, but can't take it when someone dishes it back to u.

Learn to take a joke mijo

I'm gonna try this.

@weenie boy, post one pic of a frag you grew into a full blown colony and I will shut up. Just one! And I start threads more for the commitment to become better. If I knew everything I wouldn't post threads. Why would I post threads that no one learns from?

I talk mostly about issues not about my new equipment or a stupid delivery or here I am with my chick.

Let see, my tests test normal and I have STN on coral. Of course I need to ask around. Once you have a reef with more than nubs you can relate. Until then just sit there thumbing your 2" schmekel.

Any chance of chem war? To be clear, I mean between coral...
Only issue I have seen close to it is a Tyree setosa that touched its base slightly to the left. Also an aiptasia is close to the base. But both of these animals have been there for months. But I won't rule out that the setosa is super invasive.

A change in flow could have affected where the Setosa could target its chems.

Very likely. Mikes corals hate me! They like that IO and his Dad's tank maintenance.

I think it's time I ran some carbon and started doing consistent water changes. Time to get busy and end my reefing on a good note. I wanted to break down in April but since Schnitzel d!ck wants it sooooo bad I'm gonna stay in as long as I can.

Lol awesome. Although I don't know you guys personally, I think your tank looks great and just the fact that you're seeking the forums help shows you're a responsible reefer :) I say stick to it! A bleached SPS here and there doesn't mean you're clueless. Everyone is limited to what we know and can do for our little ecosystem. Let's all make some love not war
