I had a 30g frag tank in the garage and it took almost 400w of heaters to keep it at 76. My 150 inside only had 300w of heaters and it had no problem keeping up.
5 large is pretty crazy though for a tank that only has mushrooms and xenia in it

Buy a cheap electric heater and heat ur garage at night only. Electricity is cheaper at night. Insulate ur garage too. My garage does not get that cold. (House was built in 05, and garage is insulated)
