Not long. I'm fattening them up before releasing in the main display. They need to beef up if they want to stand a chance against the flame wrasse. They are eating frozen like pigs and I got the smaller one to eat pellets already.

So they arrived fat and healthy a little bit ago. I have them dripping now.

Question. The sg of the fish water is just under 1.030. My system is at 1.026. What is a safe duration of time to lower that .004 over?

IME, as long as the SG is lower, it's not as stressful on the fish. How are do you keep the water warm what you're doing drip acclimation?

Hey Mike. That's what I thought. That's why I'm a little worried going from .1030 to 1.026.

I have a bubbler in there. They showed up at 70F so I'm raising the temp 1-2F every hour or so until @ 77. Yes I am currently dripping them. It's been about an hour, they are now 1 029

Nice. I'd go lights out for the rest of the day to help them adjust

How well did the actual wrasses match the picture? I got my Earl's from him and I believe it wasn't the exact fish or he photoshopped the image to make it look brighter.

Colors are great, the video doesn't really pick them up. They've only been in the tank for an hour so we will see. Looks to me to be the same pair I ordered, but are they as gold as the picture so far? No.

Yeah, that's what I noticed, but they're still acclimating, so you'll find out when they're settled.

Well both are out and about hunting now so I dropped a little food in the tank. Both ate mysis shrimp with a vengeance. I mixed in some SA pellets and I think they nabbed a few.

White balance pulled a little too much blue out, but you get the idea. I'm very happy with the color and healthy these two appear to be in. I did notice some stringy white poop from the female, I'll be starting Adrock's recipe in this tank tomorrow.
