I heard of someone doing a receded euro brace and that sounds siiiiiiick
are you talking about a euro brace that is not all the way to the top of the tank? because that is what i am going to do. it catches some of the water and salt and also a place to set a screen for my jumpers...
That's what I had done and I love it.

I can hook you up with All Starfire 15mm glass all four sides for around $1,500, probably less. Custom built to your specs.

honestly kevin, that is above my price range. i don't think that i need starfire glass, especially on all sides. I Just want it to be eurobraced that is just like the picture above with a tempered bottom. I want a center overflow and like the dems 48x30x20… I also want it drilled with two holes in the overflow and one return. thanks kevin. wish i could afford a tank like yours! :)

so i got a quote on a cad lights, visio, lee mar and clear diamond aquariums…What kind of experience do you guys have with these tanks. I am not trying to knock any manufacture, simply just trying to get the best tank for me so i hopefully won't run into problems in the future! thanks!

For a 48" tank they would likely go down to 12mm low-iron glass which puts you in the $1,200 range but this is merely a guess. (5 year warranty too)
Still if you dont want Starfire then might as well go with a standard Leemar or Visio then. Some of the custom companies won't even bother with regular glass.
Frankly, I wish I could afford a tank like mine too, LOL! (mostly bartered) Just happens that Redsea is very good to us and our show....very good.

Have you thought of going acrylic?

My tank is 48" long x 30" wide x 20" tall rimless acrylic. Coast to coast external overflow with 3 1.5" drains and 2 1" returns. Made out of 1" acrylic.

Got it from John at AA.

Kevin.

I've seen the CAD 100G at AGE and it looks really nice. one thing about recessed eurobracing, make sure its a reputable builder as I've seen sloppy eurobracing jobs and on the recessed style it really shows. i.e. crooked panels, sloppy silicone. The one that was posted earlier looked very clean! As far as pricing for the dimensions you want, Visio will most likely be your cheapest option, but you most likely will get what you pay for.
