Alright I need basic schooling here. My Tangs appear to be conquering the nastiest ich I have experienced in my 6 years of fish keeping (I know tropical fish sort of counts.)
In my main display the Tangs a purple and a yellow look much better. The wrasse looks good as always.
My question is this, when or how do you know that ich is gone. Or is it always gonna be present until I go fallow?
I'm actually torn on should I keep these ich fish. Or should I give them to a guy who wants to treat them in a hospital, and never see them again?
I like my PT and I here they are gonna be real difficult to get soon.
Last thing I want is to wait this out and in August add my clean fish into a ich hiding tank. I mean is it possible that the display can rid itself of ich? Or can a fish pretty much always harbor this and a slight change, like more fish bring it back?
Recommendations?? I guess I know what to do, but wanted the wise ones, to set me straight.
