Hi Jose,

the second ones are watermelon paly AKA Speckled Reds

and i dont remember the name of the first ones but i think they do have one, i'll try to find it and i'll let you know.

both are very nice!



i found the name of the first ones, Blue and Gold Aussie zoas ,

the first ones are copper rings... under a lot of flow... never seen the second ones before...


gumbii, they looks similar but i think Jose's zoas dont have the red ring around the white mouth... at least im not seeing it , i might be wrong, let's see what jose says.

these are copper rings.

i have seen speckles reds go for 50pp if you can find them around cuz these palys are hard to get.

and about the other ones... if they're blue and gold aussie zoas not cheap either, last time i saw them for sale was about 2 years ago, Junior on r2r had them but dont remember the price...

i was gonna say crown royals too, but i wasn't sure if they have a ring around the face or such a huge white dot... the ones that were being passed around looked kind of different... they had the stringy gold skirt, but not the same face...

how about taking a picture of the face of the zoa you want to be ID'd...

lol the first one have a ring in some but not fully develop and it is white not red.

Gumbii I could really get a good single shot so I just posted this shot. At first they had black on the outer rim but with my nutrients being very low they turned blue and a white rim is developing.


These two I have had for at least 1 one year. The first ones came in with some others and separated 3 and have been growing them out. The second ones I bought from tongs a single polyp that he had 3 about a year ago.
