No, no it doesn't. Would need a closer up and clearer ahot of its claws to tell you for sure, but I don't know of any mithrax crabs that have black claws. Likely a Xanthid, i e., gorilla crab/sump monster.

Do you have large acros? If you have small acros then this crab might be too much for them, but if your acros are large, it will probably be fine living in one of your acros.

Thanks for this. and it looks to be the same crab. I do have some large colonies but seems this crab can go either way so it's gonna stay in the sump where it can do no harm. thanks again much appreciated.
