Update! Check my Params last night everything was spot on. So I transferred the clowns over and added some corals, most of the corals I added are all browned out from being in my 22g. On the brighter side I dialed in my drain and it is as silent as can be! I plan on only added two or three more fish. Any suggestion on algae eating fish? I saw a super small tang at the LFS yesterday and was so tempted haha but decided against it. Anyways here are some pictures of the set up!

I still haven't completely programmed the RKL its kind of complicated or at least for me haha

nice mang! i was wondering if the coverage would be different mounting the hydra on the side, but looks like its the same as mounting it on the back. also, did you cut the main drain a couple inches to make it quieter? or just tune the herbie? following your build!

Yeah the coverage is about the same. I'm not going to be doing anything that needs super high par so I should be fine. I tuned the herbie, took a couple tries to get it just right now it's super silent.

Looks great. Any reason why you weren't able to mount the light rail behind the tank?
To be honest I thought I would get more coverage like this but it's about the same, the only benefit I see from it now is that there's more room to put corals under direct light.

Easier to get too also if you need to adjust the height of the light! How high did you mount it? I'm about 13in above. What settings do you have for the light?

Yeah I never though of that. I have them about 14in above. I have different settings throughout the day, whites, blues, violets never go above 70 and green and red never above 50
