Is my six line going to die?

Turned off the power to change filter sock and do some cleaning. About 30 minutes later, turned everything back on and there was a flurry of scales coming out of the powerhead. My six line had swum inside. Lost about 50 percent of his scales, but otherwise is swimming around and eating. Is he going to make it?

They are usually pretty hardy, should be fine. What powerhead do u have? I don't think any of my fish could fit into my Tunzes
