My fish just keep passing a bad case of ich back and forth. One heals and another one blows up with it. When it first popped up I lost half my fish. I haven't added anything since. I've been feeding Adrock's ich remedy, pretty sure that's the only reason any are alive still.

I still have 2 tangs and about 5 other small medium fish. So I'd have to set up a large hospital tank to do it myself, which I don't have the room for.

Figured I'd ask and see if there is a LFS or hobbiest that would be willing to treat and hold these guys while my tank goes fallow. Obviously I'd pay for the treatment and time spent & and am fully aware that some may not survive the treatment.

best advice is to keep them feed. keep a sheet of nori in the tank for them to feed everyday. keep them fat and they will not have ick showing.

I asked before and no one had the tank/time/space so I made room. bought a 55 cube and been QT ever since. I was afraid to kill my fish but they all survived except for a few but the ones I really loved like my achilles and hybrid are still alive! But like lowbudget said, keep feed specially Nori. They can fight it off. Add a UV if you can. Good luck!

I've been feeding 3x a day since I got all the anthias. Nori gets soaked in garlic and selcon. So I'll just keep that up.

I swear every single time I've bought a neon goby I have a bad outbreak. This last one is holding on. He'll look good, then look like he's shedding - which I thought was velvet - then he's back to normal.

I'm curently a month or so into feeding Adrock's ick remedy. It seems to be working. I have a yellow tang, flame wrasse, malinaras wrasse. All my fish don't show signs of any ick besides the tang when I have only blue led's I can see some spots of ick, I would not be able to see otherwise. I feed 2 times a day of medicated pe mysis.

What are you using in your formula and how do you prep it?

I'm going to add selcon to formula

Also my tang poops the mysis out and it seems it is hardly digested. Has anybody tried soaking a nori sheet in Adrock's mixture ?

I've got an acrylic tank- 20 gallon- 36" long that you can borrow. But it may not be big enough for all those fish. If you need it let me know.

There is a thread with a food based treatment of ich that was created by a someone with Chance of Corals (maybe). I'll see if I can find it but it sounds like it would be your best bet.

Edit: Here it is: http://www.socalireefs.com/forums/s...ch-remedy-preventative-Cocktail-my-own-recipe

Seemed a little expensive but for your fish population and needs it's probably cost effective.

I feel your pain. It took two months of feeding Adrocks medicated food recipe to get my fish healthy. I was also running UV before and during this time. All my fish have survived this battle and no longer show signs of ich.

I also found that having the best water quality possible makes a big difference and helps the fish. I changed 5% every day for 2 weeks during the last outbreak and didn't lose any fish (out of 20). That may screw with medication, but I didn't use anything other than Kick Ich. I feed the fish a ton and soaked it in garlic (entice or something like that) and Metro +. Don't go crazy on the water changes as to may be too much at a time. I was doing 10-20 gallons at a time (420g total volume).

Thanks Cody. I might try and set up a 10g for my clowns and see how that goes. I gave up on QT treatment on new fish after killing 4 in a row, so I'm hesitant to sentence them to death.

I'm gonna search the forums for the go to copper, but if anyone would like to share their experience with different brands I'd appreciate it.
