Im just being dumb. I wouldnt do such a thing to my fishes. But then again, to those people whom own dogs that crop their ears or dock their tails, how come that isnt considered abuse? I have a friend whom owns a p******a, and every now and then, he cuts off the lips of his fish to show its teeth. I just seen him do it today. Pretty nasty stuff. So yeah, im just teasin about doing so to my little guy.

i've cut off pieces of fins from fish before... like, when my koi or goldfish had tumors and nasty growths... just slice it off, and it will grow back all quick...

btw, i remember tongs in whittier had a clown with a missing fin... she got it like that from the wholesale, and put it in it's own little biocube... not for sale... sad... i would've flushed it... it couldn't swim right, and struggled to eat...

I know this is a total joke. But that being said. I have an Australian Shepard and they have cropped tails because how fast and agile they are. If they still had their tails when they run top speed their tails throw them off balance. Same with a lot of other dogs, and when they are puppies they don't even notice them being cropped. Same goes for the ears. Some dogs won't be able to hear properly unless they're ears are trimmed back.

I have cocker spaniels and if they keep the long tail it can cause 2 problems. First since they have long coats the hair on the tail gets poop all over it. That can be fixed with keeping it short cut though. Second though is that they can actually break their tails. They wag them extremely fast and with the added length it can break. Its done very early so they aren't hurting at all.

Now have you ever seen how they castrate goats? Now that's crazy. The so called humane way is to clamp or band them until they fall off. But the correct and less painful way is too.........
