they work awesome cleaning acrylic tank as long as theres no heavy coraline build up.

I wonder who the first person to try it was thinking. It seems so soft I wouldn't think that it would work and would have never thought about it if it had not been already known

It works very slowly though. Unless you clean often, when the algae is built-up for a while, it takes me a long time to get the stuff off the acrylic. When Dan mentioned "Melamine polymer" I jumped on his comment right away but I am not sure fast mean scratching or not....

Really!!!! My wife loves the product for around the house. However, she says when they get wet, they foam up, something has to be on them.
