Absolutely do not use GE silicone of any kind. The Home Depot DAP sealant All purpose adhesive sealant is advertised aquarium safe and for repairing cups you drink from. I don't know why but I wouldn't grab a tube of GE silicone and repair a crack in a coffee mug (not that I'd repair a coffee mug) but the pic is on the package.

You can this or Loc-tite @ lowes has a silicone that is aquarium safe. It even have a fish logo on it. I have a couple tube of it and other fish safe silicone if you need some...
