Do u guys ever run any actinics in the green house? I always thought corals turned ugly when grown under direct sunlight. There's a local guy that grows out side, and he has blue screens that help filter some of the sunlight. Thanks for sharing. Very cool setup by the way

Thank you! We are based out of Maryland. We ship all over continental US. We our the country's largest state certified indoor aquaculture facility. We are celebrating our 14th year in business! Kyle's tank always gets a lot of attention from walk-in customers. Kyle and I are engaged and have several other nice tanks at home. Dr. Mac said he would take some photos of our tanks at home so we can share them with everyone. Thank you for viewing our threads and the reply!

No we do not run any actinics in the greenhouse, just natural lighting. We put up a blue shade cloth in the summer months. We keep mostly SPS in our greenhouse along with gorgonians and zoanthids/palys. These corals keep nice color and have great growth all year. You have to remember that corals do come from the ocean and are illuminated by natural sunlight. We realize that we are in a temperate setting and they come from tropics but with experimenting with different shade cloths and other methods we have our system down. We have a whole coral system inside where we grow mostly LPS and lower lighting requiring corals. Thank you for the response and viewing our threads! Happy Valentine's Day!

More Frags!

Bird's Nest Garden

We had a lot of people asking to see more pictures of Kyle's tank so Dr. Mac shot a few more photos. Kyle's tank is inspirational for our under $15 frag page. The majority of the frags in his tank started out as small frag like the frags on our Under $15 Frag Page and have grown vary nicely into place.
