Well, this has been something that I have been wanting to do for over a year and now that I know I will be in SD for awhile I have finally started on my upgrade to the 180. It is a custom tank and most of you will remember it as Nick_Kun's 180 peninsula. Unfortunatly I am not going to be able to do the peninsula but it is going to be a great tank. Here is a picture of the frame for the stand that I finished on the 21st.

Not as much progress as I would like because I have perfection issues and wasn't happy with a couple of things on the frame so I had to change them. Not only that but I bought a new table saw from HD and one of the important pieces broke as I was putting it together so that was a whole other issue. Anyway, added a little more support for the frame and the top.

Great job...I skinned my stand the same way but still haven't made up my mind on which way to go about making the doors...thanks for the idea.

Thanks everyone. Just a bit of info on the doors, they are going to be completely removeable. I am going to set a frame in the inside of the stand and mount magnets to them to hold the doors in place.

Well, I have had a lot going on this week but managed to get the final touches done on the stand and 2 of the doors. 2 doors to go but I can still start getting this thing plumbed and ready to get cycled, here is the end result of the stand.

So a pretty busy evening, got the 90 moved off the wall the 180 is going and got the 180 on the stand.
Where the 90 was and the 180 is going

Where the 90 is now, across the room

And the 180 finally on its stand
