folks have told me that first gen DC pumps couldnt be run externally but current gen can...

The main thing is, it is a heat issue and a water leaking issue. As long as it is water tight, and it doesnt overheat, you are good to go. Word from Chad is that it never gets too hot, and if his arent leaking, I think that you are pretty safe. I will be running mine externally as well.

Chad, we spoke about WP40s, do you have WP25s as well? I have been reading the threat about controlling them from my apex, I think I'll still do 2 WP40s controlled, but good to have options!
