Several friends of mine have had these running for quite some time and rave about them. I here the big key is keeping them clean. Jebao likes to keep the gap between the motor and the impeller very small. This allows for greater efficiency, however it decreases the cooling by decreasing the amount of water going past the magnet. This increased heat attracts more calcification to the magnet. Most witness this when after a couple weeks they seem to slow down a bit. Keep them clean regularly and those that do seem to get a longer life.

Are any of you seeing the same?

Hey guys im thinking of getting one but not sure which one. I have a 5ft 100gal. I feel the wp25 is just too small but fear the wp40 will be over powered.
Anyone wanna help out?

I still have my dual wp10s & dual wp40s for 8 months. Its like buying 1-ply toilet paper, i know its going to bust through sooner or later to a nasty surprise, but costs so cheap its more like a challenge. Rub, rub.
