good idea. Let's leave the group buy just for ordering and questions, trash talking, and patent conspiracy theories here.

I like it so far, pretty strong though. I am going to need to dial it down and figure where I want to place it

I got it from the rc group buy, I posted a thread on here to let you guys know about it but it was deleted right away. They had a few express shipped to a few people to review. I was fortunate enough to get picked :)

I have it on my 120 gallon and I love it. There's lots of movement.

Now question: I placed it on the back wall, aimed towards the front/middle glass. On the opposite end I have my return also aimed to the same way. Is this an ideal arrangement?

Probably not ideal. I like all my pumps and returns facing different directions for more randomn and even flow. Having them all blasting one spot might mean dead spots somewhere else in the tank

Are the wp25 about the size of the tunze nano stream pumps (6015, 6025, 6045, 6055)? How many of these do you guys think I'll need for a 120 gallon 4x2x2? I was thinking 3 or would that be too much?

I haven't owned a tunze so I can't say for sure, but I think they are similar in size. The wp40's are even bigger. 3 would give you a lot of flow for sure.

The manual stated 13,000 liters/hr, which is 3,434 gallons/hr. An mp40 pushes 3,200 gallons/hr in comparison.

So with 3 you would get a turnover rate of around 85x/hr with just those pumps alone.

Hope that helps you decide.

You mentioned you dialed them back to 12v instead of 24v does the pumps stock power supply come with that option or is a differant power supply needed
