I'm still debating on putting this on in my DT??? Only eats nori and graze all day

Nice fish. I bet you my banner is longer than your banner. lol...

Here's what it says on the Live Aquaria site
The Moorish Idol is also commonly known in Hawaii as "Kihikihi" which means "curves," "corners," or "zigzags," and refers to its shape and color pattern. It is the only member of the family Zanclidae, and a very close relative of the Tangs or Surgeonfish.
So hopefully since it's a relative of the tang family, it won't eat coral.

I was bored, so I decided to update some of my old threads.

We're now very close to the six month mark on the 23rd. I've been very fortunate to keep this fish as I have. I feel I got pretty lucky. Still knocking on wood. But he's eating like a pig as is the most active out of all my big fish. Not to mention the most stunning, which people always ask questions about.

We're quickly approaching the 8th month of captivity. The Idol is doing great and goes nuts for pellets. It's really fat and very active and eats nori everyday. However, totally not reef safe. Yesterday I saw him picking on my mysteriously dying bubble coral. I don't know if it's not getting enough to eat or if it's just it's natural instinct, but it's a coral eater for sure. I feed pellets twice a day and frozen mysis once a day. Go figure. Just thought I'd update.
