Just went thru your build awesome stuff! Love the plumbing very clean!
Thanks

Do you know your PAR readings on the corners?

What other fish are you planning to add? If you're taking suggestions, I say a pair or trio of flame or lineatus wrasses! :)
No need for high par on the corners as that's where I keep these guys happy and growing

and my newest addition

as for fish, i think i'm done for now...unless i come across a real small hawaiian bandit angel..maybe in the future. we shall see.

You should get an angler. And make your asian boyfriend pay for it...that's totally in these days.
and feed it 6 line wrasses

not sure if Sahn is that baller though
i was thinking more like adding a couple sharks and some puffers. lmao

This tank is even more impressive in person, very well thought out and most of all effective, his corals look great!
thanks bro

Jesse...any new additions to the tank? :a32:

Haha
why yes, yes there are ; )

but that story is coming tomorrow as i'm missing some pictures and left them at my work computer....

Payaso love

so thanks to a fellow scr member Vapes aka Jeremy, I acquired a Doni's grade A female picasso. I already had a Sustainable Aquatics snow onyx male to pair with her but I also picked up a C-Quest onyx from Blue Ocean Aquariums Dinuk....so here's the male I had

SA snow onyx resident male

Next came the C-Quest onyx male from Dinuk at Blue Ocean...thanks again Dinuk for this sweet male

Lastly came the beautiful smokin hot Doni's picasso female..thanks again to a real down to earth reefer...thanks Jeremy.

So I placed all 3 in the sump and right away both males starting jocking for position for the female...so i then decided to place the SA snow onyx with the picasso female in the dt and see what happened. at first the male just chased and chased the female all over the tank even the the female didn't seem interested....eventually she gave in and hung out with the male..

but after a couple days, you could tell she wasn't really interested in hanging with the male no matter how hard the male tried....so i removed that male and tried again with the male c quest onyx and she was smittened with this little guy and after a couple pics like this

i knew they were meant to be together.....so next is get make some space for a tall island with a large nem for these two to start a long life together.

This "inferno" nem will be going into jeff's tank so I put it in a cup upside down to isolate it. well i got home tonight from work and this is what i see.

it somehow lifted the cup and got out and attached itself to a nearby rock that has a purple gorg glued to it. :suspicious:
don't know how it did it, but it got out. i have had some interesting things happen in previous tanks but this one takes the cake seeing as how there is a frag on top of the cup to make sure it didn't lift by the current.

Next update:

Picked up my long tentacle indo nem from Jeff yesterday and it settled in nicely.

I saw the male clown was very intrigued but the female couldn't care less. And today when the lights came on, I see this....:top:
