How do u tell if LEDs are burning corals or not strong enough
My zoas are 3/4ths open just the edges are closed

Hmmmm I'd guess that is probably sufficient for most Lps and softys.

Did u just change lighting? Ur corals will take awhile to adapt.

Well it was from coral collection so maybe theirs were weaker

They could need more light as well. How deep is the tank?

So u don't think that much LEDs is enough light? I can't put a halide in my canopy... If so I'm going to sell all of them and get value fixture from reef breeders

Without knowing which strips, reflectors, type of led, etc etc. we can't really help you. Can you post pics?

maybe a little more history or info would help us help you. Def pics will help. How long ago did you get the zoas from CC? were they open before with some other type of lighting you were using? Or that's what you had and threw the zoas in there and they aren't opening? Do you have water params to make sure its not a chem thing? Did you dip the Zoas? This can help us

Typically they are my 50G hex was pretty darn tall

2 and half tall... Rock up to 12-16 inches deep so all the corals were at 16-18 inches
