It's what a fishtank maitence guy said and I saw him do it in a 400g it was crazy the fish all hovered and would not swim away and run and then in a minute they slowly started coming out of it. I'll do a test today on my fowlr

So I did the test last night and it works! But I think it would need to last a little longer. Ima try two drops tommorow and record it.


I didn't want to get on film a 30 sec tank crash. That would of been something

Oh come on. Its for the good of the hobby. Make sure you video tape it this time!

Not to discount what you're saying Evanski, but when I used API Melafix during qt on my regal angel and spotcinctus clowns, it didn't have that effect on them. Melafix contains an extract of Melaleuca (Tea tree oil). If it does work, then that will be of great help to our reefing community.

this is just what i was thinking...

i'm sure it was some other sort of pesticide he threw in there...

btw, tea tree oil is a pesticide... kills a lot of animals... it can kill birds, dogs, cats... i wouldn't want that stuff in my water column...
