It's been about two weeks now since I started dosing MB7. A couple of days ago, I started dosing vodka again. So far my sps are lightening up/pastelling. I will start dosing AA soon and feed the tank more to get some darker colors. I'm happy with the results so far.

What kind of corals do you have in your tank? Sps? Lps? Softies? Mixed? Do you notice any color difference?

I'm dosing AA and Koralcolor from Brightwell

I will start dosing MB7 on my tank next week. Im still debating if I want to use the BW Biofuel or the Vodka.

Also im debating if I wanna keep using the zeolith stones. I think ill keep using the zeolith stones, all my research says that they absorb ammonia/ammonium very effectively. But i really hate pumping the reactor twice a day.

Im switching from zeovit to brightwell. I had horrible algae problems with zeovit. I never over-dosed neither, I followed the instructions very carefully as suggested by the moderators on the zeovit forum.

How about the soft stuff Nick how are they doing?
softies are actually doing great, except for leathers. Yumas/ricordeas and zoanthids are acting normal, no color shifts. I did notice that my zoanthis have been growing at a fast steady rate though.

Well, Nick, you have inspired me :) My tank has been running so well/smoothly with my current vodka dosing rate, I figured I have a good "baseline" going to start something new. I got a couple bottles of Microbe-Lift Bacterial Aquarium Balancer by Ecological Labs at IMAC to try out.

I hope to keep a better/more detailed record of the trial than I did when I first started vodka dosing....

Nice peter, I did notice the same thing with my tri-color as well. What's your dosing regime?

Are you guys running carbon at the same time during the MB7 and vodka?

Nick... when you say 8 drops... is that 8 drops from a dropper?
