Sorry didnt text you back. I never bought it. I have three different calibration fluids for my paranoia and I calibrate every time I use it.

Have it, Love it. Clean lens between reedings. I use distilled water from the market to set zero. BTW i got mine from Coral Obsessions.

Works good. Just have to it clean like already said. Also you have to calibrate it every time with ro which is kinda annoying but best for precision. Also sometimes if I calibrate with cold ro and then hurry up and throw some warm tank water on the lens it gives a messed up ready until it picks up the temp change. But definitely an awesome tool.

For the price you might just get a salinity/conductivity probe setup for your apex. Then you have constant monitoring and logging.

A couple things I was doing wrong. I was letting the tip get dry on wc's. I had to send it out to apex to fix (took forever to get the new one.) but once you calibrate it and don't move it it's good for vacations and as a guide.
