You are only charged if the goal is met. So if they don't make the goal, they don't have money and usually it postpones the project. Unless they find alternate funding, production may never happen.

I'm not familiar with kickstarter. What happens if they don't reach their goal of 300k?

Mindstream has already stated that their product is coming to market regardless of the outcome of the Kickstarter campaign. If the Kickstarter is successful the extra money will simply help the Mindstream get to us sooner!

If you pledge to the Kickstarter and they don't reach their goal then your credit card is never charged anything.

Will nitrate and phosphate be possible in the future?

They have stated that nitrate is in the works but phosphate might be more difficult. I think nitrate would be nice but I am personally not too worried about phosphate. Once a month testing of phosphate with a Hanna checker is fine with me.

I'm hoping the kickstarter gets a BIG boost with macna this weekend. I really want my mindstream in December!
