Maybe I was lucky, but I have 4 clowns in my tank. My very first pair purchased 10 years ago when I had my 10g, later on I end up with 180g. They are just regular perculas. I added a snowflake and a black clown. The new fish were smaller than my female, black clown was bigger than my first male. So the female pushed her first male away and paired up with the black clown. Later on she allowed her old male and a snowflake to join. I also added a platinum clown, that they all cared less about, he has his elegance coral that he cares about. Not long age the black clown died, looked like he got some kind of infection (other clowns were fine). So I'm left with my big female, her very first partner, the snowflake, and the platinum clown.
