Happy new year!
I've lurked on this site for a number of years now and thought I'd start 2015 by starting some tank threads here.
Last spring, my 90 gallon tank was packed with sps colonies so i decided to upgrade to a 125, its an older tank with interesting dimensions in a monster stand. 48" x 30" x 20", starfire glass (although its kind of old so its got some water stains) eurobraced, on a 48" stand so its eye level. Looked like this when i started
This was the old tank i was transferring livestock from
The "new" tank has a monster sump built by an old friend of mine who died a few years ago, larry montgomery. He did some glass work, had a business called "waves in glass" out of oceanside.
Its got a huge fuge compartment, my return is a speedwave dc adjustable pump and i plumbed it to allow water changes from the return. The drain is just durso into a t so i can feed the fuge as well as a filter sock. Bubble magus 200p skimmer i got from my good friend john (tylbart), he helped me break down this sucker and move it from san diego up to temecula. Could not have set this up without his help.
