My little reef and fish only aquariums

Hi everyone. I have been in this hobby for a long period of time but just fresh water. About 1 year ago I decided to take a journey into this new hobby of salt water. Currently I have 2 aquariums: one reef and one fish only.

First is my reef 28 gal jbj nano cube. It is a mixture of LPS corals, Polyps, and mushrooms; and some colorful fish.


Second is my fish only cube.

How big is the second tank? Looks WAY SMALL for allthose tangs and not much swiming room.

I agree that second tank is entirely too small. Three angels, four tangs? I would either sell, or upgrade right away...I can only imagine the aggression in that tank.

Cool tanks !!! I would for sure look into a bigger tank for the tang's and angel's they need plenty of room to swim and graze .. Welcome to Socali and the wonderful world of saltwater ...

Thats way out of the Tang Police jurisdiction though, Tang S.W.A.T. is required for this. The fact that people join this and other forum's show they care more than most.

Thanks for comments. They were in 135gal but sold it to look for upgrade. So they are in this cube just for a short period of time while I am looking for at least 180gal for them.

Yea I like the reef better than my fish only tank. I like the aqua-scape and how nicely corals are growing. I was surprised cuz didnt think PC light could make them grow that good. I am still thinking for light upgrade but dont wanna leave the top open. I have some fish that could jump like my firefish and wrasse.

I don't know what the haters are complaining about. You can squeeze in two more tangs and at LEAST one more angel, a FULL SIZE angel! Lol.
