Time to make the food more uniform and get them into cubes. I've been online and mostly everything is in China. Anyone know where I can get the little plastic trays and aluminum/plastic cover to make frozen fish cubes?

I have seen the little ice cube trays. Issue with that is my ingredients are all real and don't have a gel and would unfreeze quickly I think even flash freezing them. Could be wrong.

I am looking for a cheap alternative to package the food and at least give the customer the size they need to feed. Anyone have any ideas or know of a national company that could package my food I am ready to go forward.

If I could even just get the trays and lids I can package myself until I find a plant that could do it for me in mass.

Any help would be appreciated and if I get an excellent lead you won't have to buy fish food for an extremely long time.

I want to buy some stock in WickedFeast please.....an aquatic food so natural even Zombies love it")
Honestly if you take a hard look at ingredients in competitors foods it's easy to make a niche market. My target is small but I think sometimes doing things carefully and higher quality equals a strong name for the future.

Looked into the major brands and they add so many binders and Chems to gel up and to preserve their food.

I'm at the point I need that one extended hand to take this to the next level and it's all in packaging. Marketing is not an issue and will never be as the product literally sells itself.

One thing I've learned in the consumer product business is never discount marketing :)

Sounds like you need a co-packer that can maybe do smaller run (less than 10,000) in the initial stages. I can refer you to a couple places if you are interested in taking with them. Have not looked into it but fish food is most likely not FDA regulated so you may be able to do it cheaper with a non-GMP facility. Just a thought.

Best of luck on taking it forward. Sounds exciting!

it will be tough without a binder. Will also be tough to stay competitive price wise doing it in USA. China is the solution lol.

I like the recyclable bins and just refill them for people. This is an obvious local deal. But a solution nonetheless.

I can get you the little plastic tray and aluminum cover. I would just need to know the size of the plastic tray you want and how many pieces you wanted cause that would determine pricing. And if you want the carboard box sleeve that holds the tray I can get you that too with printed branding on it. Let me know of your interested and I'll pm you with more info later tonight
