I have owned many Bubble King skimmers in pass 15 years I think I never go other skimmers in the future. I bought many German skimmer like ATI, H&S, Grotech in the past and tested them but Bubble King is the best skimmer.
What justifies a $2,000+ skimmer? geez.. Does it skim 5x better than a $400 skimmer?
The first one is Bubble King 300 external.

Super marine 250

Vertex cone 250 skimmer

Bubble King 300 internal

Vertex 300 Cone skimmer.

Go back to Vertex 250 cone skimmer.

So what are the benefits in a reef tank to have digital controller to the motor? Can you control it through apex? Can be set to different settings throughout the day? Or is it basically a toy you need to move manually? If you turn down the power to the pump, doesn't that effect the skim production?

I can only see a benefit if at feedings you could turn it off through your phone which all apex people can do, and or turn it low at night which apex users can't do but I would definitely like to.
