Hey whats up guys, I havn't posted a recent pic of my tank in a while so today I will post a few.
If you remember in a few post's before (if you don't just look back a few pages) I mentioned how I re-aranged my rock work and had an outbreak of asterina stars that combined with a faulty alk test kit, caused the loss of most of my coraline algae (the nice pink stuff) well heres a few photos to give an update on the tank.
The pic, below, was taken about 3 months after the photo at the very begining of this post (also the same one as in my avatar)
This is what my tank looked like after the asterina stars went to town and from my alk being so low for so long. I eventually lost all of my coraline, but I only have this photo of it with a little bit left.
This is a pic of what my tank looks like today somewhere around 4 months later, after getting a harlequin shrimp to eat all of the starfish, and keeping my alk back up at an acceptable level of around 9dkh (I have also started fragging during this time and have a frag rack sitting above my rocks for now, until my frag tank is ready, which should be soon!) its still not back to its former glory but it will be there soon, and its sort of a crappy pic, I will get some new ones up once my frag rack is out of the way.
