Welcome. Ask questions and laugh a lot because we love to joke around here.
Such a liar Al nobody jokes around here. Everything is serious, this hobby demands us to be serious ,if your not serious you need to get out of the hobby because you could never be a good responsible reefer without being serious. Reefkeeping is not fun but hard work and not meant to be enjoyed. How dare you say we like to joke around.

Thanks everyone. I've actually been around the hobby for several years. I just had to take a break from it while I was in school. Moved back into town recently so starting up a new tank.

The setups:

3 gallon desktop pico: going to be running this as a zoa garden. I have it filled and running now with a few LEDs running as a test setup to see how bad temp/evap/salinity swings are going to be on a day to day basis to figure out if it's even worth starting up. These IE summers are no joke.i might end up plumbing in a small sump setup just to increase water volume. Planning water changes with the main tank ever 3 days but that seems like it can easily start to slip my mind.

32 gallon 18x18x23 glass cube + 17 gallon sump: had this sitting in the shed for a few years now. Leak test is good. Will be posting a build thread once it's up and running. Drilled and plumbed tank. Need to pick up material to make overflow box today. Stand it in progress. Structurally it's done. Just need to figure out skinning and painting the outside. DIY LEDs planned in the coming weeks. Currently have a par38 I'm going to throw on for now. Hope to have water in it by this week.
