i like the aquascaping, how it's got caves and such.
however, being that it's going to be FOWLR, there won't be "new" growth with coral. I think you should use mortar / putty / etc to assemble the rocks so that they take up more height.
right now, there's a lot of negative space above the rocks.
I'll have to talk my wife into re scaping the rock. I'm not sure what you mean by "new" growth with coral as I'm not putting any in. How do you suggest I should do the mortar/putty with the rocks?
I agree with Jeff, stack higher. I would also make some islands and get yourself some free sand bed space.
I have to let the wife do the scaping part of it as she is picky on how it looks...happy wife happy life, right? Haha
welcome Niko, this guy came into my shop and we chatted for a bit and he is genuine and real down to earth kind of guy what you see is what you get so I want all my scr friends to welcome him and help him out if he has any questions and just cause he is doing fish only doesn't mean he isn't one of us. any one with a aquarium fresh salt reef fish only planted tank is one of us . Hope to see you soon again and maybe some day we will go off-roading thanks again for coming into my NIko! oh and he has a epic beard! lol
Thank you for answering all my questions when I came in to the shop! I hope I didn't bore you with my questions. I will definitely be shopping with you for all my needs for my tank! I will be at The more freedom 250 night race next Saturday night come you should come on out for a bit after work! Haha what epic beard?
Welcome aboard. Speaking from experience, you couldn't find a better place to get advice, suggestions and every once in a while, a hard time! Looking forward to seeing your progress!

I have been learning a lot from reading everything on here! My wife is thinking I am a mr know it all just from what I read on here! I will definitely post updates when I have some. As for right now the tank is still cycling naturally with out the addition of any shrimp or anything to kick start the cycle. I'm just letting the live sand and live rock do what it needs to do!
I just need to get me a better skimmer to keep up with the fish I want to have in the tank. But can't do that till I sell my poison dart frog vivariums!
Thank you everyone for all the welcoming and the knowledge you guys have posted and what not on here. I am still trying to figure out what my main fish I want to have as my main "eye candy", so I can add others accordingly.
