Hey guys,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Evan, I am 18 years old and I live in the Santa Clarita Valley (Castaic to be exact). I just started my first saltwater tank about 3 months ago and I am totally hooked. If any one is up in my area and has some frags let me know! Here is a shot of my tank:

Take it easy

The tank is a 40 breeder with stand and canopy.

Equipment:
Fishneedit 36" 4 x 39w T-5 Light
CPR Bak-Pak 2 Skimmer
Hang On Refugium (~7 gallons)

Fish:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Six Line Wrasse
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
Flame Hawkfish
Red Lipped Blenny

Coral (for now):
GSP
Orange Monti
Xenia
Watermelon Zoa's
Greenbay Packer Zoa's

I'm still getting my feet wet in this hobby, but eventually I would like to upgrade to better lighting and start keeping SPS.

horray for 40 breeders! When you're ready for some fuzzy sticks, come through Tustin and I'll break off a stick for ya. 4xT5s on a 40br is enough to keep many SPS.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. Thanks to those of you who complimented the tank as well. It is a constant work in progress.

Oh and MikeE, you are the second person to have told me that after showing them that picture of my tank. It must be a deceiving picture haha..

I'm In Valencia and just signed up...good to see there are people out in Santa Clarita who are into reefing...
Very nice, I don't know very many reefers in the area, but have already found a handful off of this site.
