hello everyone this is my very first post here and wanted to introduce myself here. I am in San Bernardino I currently have a 180 gallon saltwater fish tank and has been up for about 4 months now. I hope to make new friends here and to be able to learn new things with you guys.

It will cause a lot of algae, if your doing just fish only with live rock you could be alright, but if you plan to do a reef tank I would remove it.

oh okay yeah right now its just fish only and i think i will keep it at that until i plan to put corals in it. thanks for the advice.

Welcome aboard. Lots of great folks here. You should also hit up the IEMAS Club. Meets every first Friday at the IHOP behind Ontario mills at 7pm
