A year into the hobby, good and bad experiences... upgraded already from 37T siphon overflow to 80 gallon reef ready tank. Anyone close? Ideas? Reef Buddy?

Wow thx guys, glad to know everyone is so helpful on this site. Question: would you use phos sponge to help quickly get rid of algae? I know its a ~48 hr thing. Then go back to gfo? Or just let the water changes and gfo do their work?
