Quick update. Summer, work, etc. haven’t paid as much attention as I should to tank the last few months but overall things are doing well.
I lost a couple pieces while on a two week vacation. Bummed because I picked them up at WWC in Orlando while there for work. Nothing crazy just grafted Cyphastrea and a sweet little turbinaria. They look they want to come back if the algae would keep at bay.
I’d like to add a true HG torch sometime soon. And maybe give another turbinaria a try, really dig the shape. SPS is still my downfall for sure.

Top down update. Tank has been doing well, so much so I’m even afraid to look at it wrong some days, lol. 
Biggest problem has been keeping up with Alk, I’m constantly trying to get it up to 8 dkh but hovering around 7 most days.
Fragged two of my torches, that was a first for me. Went well and despite gluing some of tentacles to the plug they seem to be doing good. A few more months and I will probably need to worry about that monti.

Looking good! 7 isn’t bad and not something I would worry about too much. You can increase AFR a little more as long as the other parameters are good and not elevated? Otherwise, small additions of soda ash at night might help. If things are looking good and there are no issues, then I wouldn’t try to change much. NSW alk is 7, so you’re within the target range.
