But out of the choices I'd say C2C since in most cases will have the most surface area and will not be as dependent on internal tank flow characteristics and dead surface spots because of the maximized usage of surface area for drainage.

C2C with no slots cut in it. More surface area to clear the skim from the tank. Think of it like this. If you had 2 ponds that were the exactly the same except one pond had a small waterfall that drained into a lower pond and the other pond had a big water wall spanning the entire side of the pond draining into a lower pond. Small pond waterfall was super rockey large waterfall was smooth. Now dump oil into the ponds. Which one will skim the oil out faster?

I think coast to coast is best since it covers the most area. my tank is a peninsula and I have to push water to one side or it will build up at the opposite end. didn't think of this before the tank.
