Peppermint Shrimp gave birth!!

A few of my peppermint shrimps are holding and as I was looking at my tank I noticed one giving birth to her :baby:.. Pretty awesome to have witnessed it.. Anyhow here is a few pics I snapped...

Yeah I gathered up most of them in a little breeder hang on basket.. I have only three fish.. A black yellow tailed blenny, purple firefish and a red firefish.. Which are already snacking on the ones I left behind..

Awesome. I hope some make it. It happened to me once and they all got eaten or filtered out. I couldn't figure out what was floating around when it happened lol

Nice! I noticed last night about 20+ 1/8th" baby peppermints running around in the tank. Mine gave birth a month or two back. Thought they all were eaten, but I guess the key is no pumps at night with minimal light, lots of rocks for them to hide, and feed tank lightly every other night. Cant wait till they are too big to be lunch and start coming out in the open.

Crazy hard to take pics of them but I tried their so small and fast and my cheto is out of control most of them are in the middle with the mom

Haha no worries. Sounds really cool though. Looks like the perfect place for them to grow up.
