Hey I hear people talk alot about pods in there tank. Who has the best prices on pods? and with so many different types what does everyone recommend?

I think reefs2go(sponsor on here) has usually good deals on pods like buy 1000 get 1000 free...
Also Ben started a reefs2go group buy

Copepods are beneficial for certain hard to keep fish like Mandarin gobies and certain wrasses. If you don't have either they ate certainly not a necessity in a reef.

I personally recommend Tiggerpods from Reef Nutrition and Reefbugs(they come in a little box and you premix them with water to hatch them) I love the growth of these critters for their detritus eating abilities and they are just cool. Also if you ever get a wild caught fish you will have better chances of having him survive. Good luck!
