Thanks Steve. Yep, that's the H&S A200 with 2 recirculating Eheim 1260's. Can't wait to put that puppy into service.

Thanks Jeffrey. Me thinks so too :D

Thanks guys.

I will have a chiller plumbed in, that's what one of the ball valves right above the Dart is for. I am picking up a Deltec Eco Cooler from a local reefer next week. It should be enough for the system but if not, I can add a small size chiller on top of that later.

haha, yeah that is a big surprise...chaffey is the one usually snagging up all the good deals within seconds of it being posted. lol, he must have some kind of bot that notifies him that a good deal is available on RC.

Sweet! I heard good things about the deltec evap chiller. Nice score Kenny, everything looks good! When will we see salt water?

Yeah, the thread was actually posted the night before and I contacted the guy about it the next morning. Good thing too cuz gcarroll was right after me

I am trying to arrange for the NSW delivery on Wed b/c I'll be in Lake Arrowhead chilling for a few days until Tuesday. Can't wait. Then I have to get all the sand and more rocks.

Hey Kenny,

How much is it going to cost you for the NSW delivery to your place?

Some updates and new pix. NSW was delivered last week by Andy from Ocean in Motion and some rocks went in last night. Still plenty more to go.

Filter sock holder

~1.5" sandbed with 240 pounds total

I will have two separate rock mounds with a channel in between for the fish to swim through. The left side just needs a couple more large pieces and the small rocks on the right give you an idea of where the small rock island will be located.

Mike, thanks for the heads up. I am planning on having a couple of exhaust fans like those used in the bathrooms installed. Probably one above the tank and one on the opposite wall. Hopefully that'll help. If not, then I'll have to plumb the chiller on the side of the house, but it's got a heck of a long way to go.

Additional updates from today. Picked up some rock on Saturday at RAP. Still need a couple to finish off the island but it's pretty much done.

Left side against the overflow all done.

Right side island. You can tell essentially what it'll be like and the channel between the two rock piles.

LOL............Only my zoas/palys and LPS are looking good recently so that's all you get to see. My 2 year old 30 gallon at home is mostly SPS with a bunch of nice stuff growing out. When the time comes, I'll show off the goods.

This tank will be somewhat of a mixed reef with a lot of fish. And I mean a lot. Coralwise, I think it'll probably be 80-85% SPS and the rest LPS/zoas/palys.
