some people say yes some people say snake oil. i soak the nori in it or even chop fresh garlic sometimes depending on how motivated i am

that is good to hear. just tie half a sheet of nori on the rock and have it eat that all day every day. you should have a nice powder blue tang for a very long time.

Powder blue is a love hate relationship. Beautiful fish but will break youre heart eventually. I tried 3 previous times buying new ones from lfs/fish runs. They eat and do well for a month or two. You leave the house for the weekend, you come back with powder with full blown ich. Dies and kills a few others along the way.

I was sure never again. I found a tank established one not too long ago. One more try. Same thing. Did fine for a while. Was gone for a couple of days last week. Came back to find same thing. Powder died the other day. Lost a bunch of fish and trying to do damage control. I still think I'm gonna lose a couple more fish.

That's exactly what happened to me. Left the house for a couple days and come home to the reef aids.

Ok so the plan is not to leave my reef, unless its in capable hands. Noted!!!!
