Pump maintenance?

How often do you clean your return pump and power heads.

Im running 2 tunze 6905 and a luguna 2900 and try to give them a vinegar bath once a year.

When I ran my external I tried at least every year but more like every other year. I did replace the bearing tho when I did maintenance it. When I do maintenance and powerheads I do check the impellers and the shafts for signs of wearing tho. The wearing down on the shaft and bearings can cause failure eventually. So when checking them u can catch any problems before they happen.

I usually do every 6 months. My tank crashed from not checking my motor block on my tunze wavebox on the 150g. The shaft had a crack and rusted.
