My PT is now in the display. After sparring with my YT for 3 days, they now hang out like best buds.

and that is the problem right there. Now I don't QT either and have gotten lucky thus far with healthy fish, but this is not Fish Collections fault by any means. We hobbyists tend to rush things...

It is never a fish store fault. When u think about it, most of the marine fish are from the ocean, which means they all bring parasite regardless how healthy they are. I would not feel comfortable to put new fish into my DT without going thru treatments. Wrasses are not that bad, however tangs especially are known for having ICH.

Ich is found in the body of water. . Not the fish. When a fish is stressed it secretes oil that the ich parasites love, they cling on to this. Tangs are notorious stress cases. Ich is pretty much in all bodies of water.
