Heyo! I’ve been lurking on here since 2020 and realized I don’t think I’ve ever posted a full tank shot or build thread. So, here’s what I’m working with! Photography isn't my strong suit(nor is cleaning the glass), sorry
Equipment:
-IM 30 gallon long
-2 AI Prime(1 HD, 1 regular)
-IM Mini Skimmer
-IM Media reactor with biopellets(I dont think they do a damn thing)
-ReefBreeders Prism ATO
-Media bag with carbon and GFO that gets changed close to never
-DIY trickle filter/algae reactor (MY SAVING GRACE)
Livestock:
1 Maitai Clown
1 Royal Gramma
1 b+w molly
1 banggai cardinal
Some love for the Inverts:
-1 fire shrimp
-numerous Bulla gouldiana
-1 elephant slug
-a metric ton of Cerithideopsis californica
-another metric ton of Nassarius fossatus
-a third metric ton of Tegula gallina
-A few Mossy Chitons
-Stylea clava tunicates
-Stylea plicata tunicates
-some unknown chain tunicates
-skeleton shrimp
For corals, I've mixed in a little bit of everything from torches to acros, acanthos(thanks Jose!), galaxea, montis, mushrooms, lobos, hammers, and more! The tank has been running for close to 2 years now and things are finally pretty filled in and stable. It was a hell of a time getting to this point with my lackadaisical standards. We've definitely had a few losses, but nothing too major, and it survived a move 6 months ago just fine!
If you're curious about anything else or have some tips to improve things a bit, feel free to chime in
