I say Yay. I've had brittle stars in all of my tanks and they didn't touch any fish (gobies, clowns, etc) that were smaller than the star. But like everything, YMMV.

it could go either way, if you have a small fish you would hate to lose, don't get it, if you can deal with it, get one.

I would say yay to a brittle, excellent for helping to clean up your tank, however......

The dreaded green brittle.... I dont know how many people actually have had a problem, but I had one which was a major predator always trying to sneak up on sleeping fish. A devil I tell you. I recommend going with some of the brown ones or other types, just steer clear of the green ones

Definitely stay clear of the green ones, I don't know what can be said about the other ones, but I had a green one who ate half my tank before I realized it was him...
