Got the tank and sump cleaned up a bit today, placed a order for pukani rock and red (daughters request) plumbing. I've also spoken with a gent who will build a stand for me as my wife is staunchly against the height of the current stand. Once those things arrive I will start a proper build thread befitting of Socalireefs

So I purchased a small amount of pukani rock to see how I'd like the look of it, and I love it! Now I'll order 40 more pounds of it and some epoxy. Also my 2 MP40's should have shipped today.

Did a quick modification to my screen top to accommodate the rms arms.

Also bricked my Apex and broke one of my MP40'S and ordered a new one from MD, outside of that nothing much to report.

Wife thinks it's to high, plus she wants something that goes with the furniture. I was going to just try and skin the stand but she wants a new wooden one so I'm having one built.

Tried updating the Apex without reading the instructions, figured it was similar to updating my old reefkeeper and did it via wifi, the MP40 I wasn't careful in removing the wetside for cleaning (bought used) and broke the nylon propeller screw amd no one seems to carry it. I wanted a new QD anyway so I used that as a reason to buy a new one.

No rock work yet, the couple of pieces I have in there where for test purposes to see if I liked the pukani, I'll be ordering 40 lbs more later this week and then I'll have an aquascape pic worth showing.
