and a full time jerk (jk) hahahaha

he deserves a hug when you see him

My pleasure. I'm only there on Saturday so I can't volunteer all day (a man's gotta shop you know) but I'll put in a few hours if needed. Conveniently I don't feed my kids on weekends...keeps my house's bio-load down.

Someone should PM me about volunteering. I'm willing to work either middle of the day or first thing in the morning, in order of preference. Also planning on hanging out at the SCRK and SCR booths so I don't want to commit much more than 3-4 hours tops.

I'd love it if we did name tags with handles and real names. I have enough trouble remembering real names much less two identifications. If not I'll be the guy who looks like an a-hole because he doesn't realize he's "talked" (i.e. posted) to you tons of times but doesn't seem to know who you are. I might even be the guy you meet 3 times before he remembers your name. I'm clinical with faces but just terrible with names...

Can I just put FatChef? I mean I'm the fattest dude on the forum besides Steven Segal. Like no one will know the Stay puffed marshmallow man!

Its funny though - you meet people in real life and they get all shy many times. On the forums I think people feel more secure and kind of anonymous. Or maybe Im just a mean ugly dude and people dont wanna chat in real life hahaha

Mostly ugly but you sure are fun to chat to when I'm drunk. This time no front 2 front hugs.

Done! You're lucky I'm shorter or else I might be competition for the title of "Fattest Dude On This Forum".

This! j/k lol

You're actually a perfect example of what I'm talking about. We've communicated plenty here on SCR and I met you in person at SCRK. But my brain is made of teflon and I've totally forgotten your name, the real one (unless it's Humperdink). So I might seem shy but it's only because I don't want to call you the wrong name or admit that I've forgotten. But if I see your name on a name tag and talk to you I'll probably remember it. A lot of times I'll spell a person's name in my head when I first meet them and it helps me but they're freaked out because I'm still holding their hand and staring into space while I do it, lol. For the record: I wanna chat.

I'll try to keep me beer in the cup while I'm chatting with your customers. I was sloshed last year when I saw you. A 24 pack will do that.
