My father passed yesterday unexpectedly. He was getting the value fixtures x2
I apologize but LEDs are the furthest thing on my mind now & will not b taking part of gb at this time.

Well this might persuade you to not wait for the supernova. They estimate that it will be 7-800 dollars now. I don't know about you but that's out of many people's budget. They said it went up in price due to more leds, better materials, and being made here in the Usa.

Yea. I totally understand. At the moment, I wouldn't be able to afford that either (especially with the $1200 cat dental bill I just racked up). However, by the time fall / winter comes around, I'll be ready to make a big purchase like that. It's going to be more than the $500 - $600 I was initially planning on spending for lighting, but I'd rather be patient, spend a bit more, and get the equipment I really want. My tank doesn't even have water in it yet, so I'm in no hurry (plus, I have a halide/T5 combo around in the meantime).

For now, my priority is getting my hands on a rlss r8-i with the new pump... *whenever that's going to be released and in stock again.*

You should take a look at skimz skimmers. DC pumps as well and great quality
